A decision by Bollywood star Shah Rukh Khan was instrumental in overcoming financial hurdles for the Marathi film 'Deool Band 2', ultimately ensuring its release and subsequent success. Impressed by the film's potential, Khan reportedly instructed his team to prioritize the film's release, stating, "It's a Marathi film. If the film is good, provide the DCP first, we'll sort out the money later." This support enabled the timely release of 'Deool Band 2', which went on to earn over 800 million rupees against a modest budget of 80-100 million rupees, becoming one of Marathi cinema's biggest hits. The film addresses sensitive social issues like farmer suicides and conflicts of faith.
