The Ministry of Education and Science of Tajikistan is developing a curriculum titled "Fundamentals of Artificial Intelligence" for students in grades 5-11. This initiative was discussed at a working group meeting on educational digitalization. Representatives from the ministry, UNICEF, and other educational technology experts participated in the discussions. The program aims to equip students with essential digital skills for the modern technological world. A pilot phase was previously conducted in select schools with positive results. The long-term strategy includes integrating AI education as a separate subject in all schools by 2028. This move reflects a growing global emphasis on AI literacy.
