A Hyderabad court has summoned popular South Indian actor Allu Arjun to appear in person on June 22 regarding a stampede incident during a special screening of 'Pushpa 2: The Rule'. The incident, which occurred on December 4, 2024, at the Sandhya Theatre, resulted in the death of a woman named Revathi and severe injuries to her son, Sri teja. Police have listed Allu Arjun as the 11th accused in the case, with the theatre management listed as accused 1 to 10. A total of 23 individuals are charged, and the court has issued summons to 19 of them. Allu Arjun's legal team confirmed his attendance is required for the hearing.
