Four Detained for Alleged Escape from Custody During Anti-Drug Operation in Panchagarh

Four individuals arrested during an anti-drug operation in Panchagarh were allegedly freed from handcuffs and escaped while a mobile court was in session. The incident occurred on Thursday afternoon in the Panchagarh market area. The detainees, identified as Zaynal, Shahen Shah, Hasibur Rahman, and Dipu Islam, were apprehended with drugs and related paraphernalia. Allegations include resisting arrest, creating a mob, obstructing public servants, and damaging government property, including a police vehicle. Following a search, the four individuals were recaptured near a traffic police box, with their handcuffs found cut. Cases have been filed against them and approximately 25 unidentified individuals.
