For the first time in more than three and a half centuries, pelican chicks have successfully hatched in London's St. James's Park. The birds, originally gifted to King Charles II in 1664, have never before managed to breed in the park.
This rare breeding success marks a significant milestone in the conservation and natural history of the iconic pelicans residing in St. James's Park.
