TRA's Kariakoo Tax Region Acting Manager, Edson Issanya, praised the business community's voluntary tax compliance, which has fueled economic growth and improved social services. During a visit to Kijiwe cha Mchikichini as part of TRA's 30th-anniversary celebrations, Issanya highlighted the Business Facilitation Desk's role in assisting businesses with tax challenges. He encouraged traders to engage with TRA, assuring them of support. The event also provided a platform for taxpayers to voice their concerns and suggestions for service improvement. TRA remains committed to taxpayer-centric services and strengthening stakeholder relationships. Celebrations will culminate on Taxpayer Day, July 1, 2026.
