The operation, conducted by the National Directorate of Public Procurement (SENAD) in collaboration with the Armed Forces, dismantled a significant marijuana production complex. Seized items included pressed and chopped marijuana, hydraulic presses, and processing equipment. SENAD indicated the operation targeted a large-scale production facility likely linked to Brazilian criminal organizations. The destruction is estimated to have caused an economic loss of around $8 million for criminal groups. The operation represents a major blow to drug trafficking in the region.
