New Law on Notary Services in FBiH Aims to Strengthen Anti-Money Laundering Measures
Federalni ministar pravde Vedran Škobić izjavio je u petak u Mostaru kako je novi Zakon o notarskoj službi Federacije BiH usklađen s Notarskom komorom FBiH te upućen u parlamentarnu proceduru, istaknuvši da njegovo usvajanje ima značajnu ulogu u jačanju sistema za sprečavanje pranja novca.
The new Law on Notary Services in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina (FBiH) has been harmonized with the Notary Chamber FBiH and submitted for parliamentary procedure. Federal Minister of Justice Vedran Škobić stated that the law is crucial for strengthening the system designed to prevent money laundering and the financing of terrorism. It also addresses the proliferation of weapons of mass destruction. The legislation introduces a 'strict filter' for contracts, aiming to enhance scrutiny and compliance. This reform is seen as a significant step towards improving financial transparency and combating illicit financial activities within the region.
