Kosovo Prosecutorial Council Confirms Five Candidates for Chief State Prosecutor

The Kosovo Prosecutorial Council (KPC) has officially confirmed a shortlist of five candidates vying for the position of Chief State Prosecutor. KPC President Arijan Gaši announced the approval of the list following a review of applications submitted by the June 10 deadline. The confirmed candidates include Atde Dema, Naim Abazi, Rafet Halimi, Shqipdon Fazliu, and Zejnulah Gaši, all of whom are currently serving prosecutors within Kosovo's judicial system. The KPC confirmed the list with a majority vote of six in favor and one against.

The confirmation of these candidates marks a significant step in the process of appointing a new Chief State Prosecutor for Kosovo, a crucial role in the country's justice system.
