Military police reported that the individual, who was reportedly wearing an electronic monitoring ankle bracelet and had a history of domestic violence, attempted to take an officer's weapon during the apprehension. Police stated they observed a motorcycle obstructing the road and approached the man. According to the report, the suspect disobeyed orders and advanced towards the police vehicle, opening the door and attempting to seize a weapon. Officers discharged their firearms to neutralize the threat. The man was transported to a hospital but succumbed to his injuries. A knife was reportedly found in his possession.
