The state oil company, EP Petroecuador, awarded contracts for two international hydrocarbon marketing processes. The deal involves the export of 2,880,000 barrels of crude oil, split equally between Oriente and Napo crudes. The international benchmark West Texas Intermediate (WTI) was used as the reference price for the sales. Petroecuador invited over 35 qualified companies to ensure competitive bidding.
