Farmer Achieves Success in Foreign Grape Cultivation Using YouTube Tutorials

Minhajul Islam Nahid, a 33-year-old agricultural entrepreneur from Bogura, Bangladesh, has successfully cultivated foreign grape varieties on his 15-decimal plot of land. After a decade in the pharmaceutical marketing sector, Nahid left his job to pursue agriculture, initially growing Indian jujubes and later exotic fruits like guava, dragon fruit, and strawberry. He began cultivating foreign grapes a year ago, growing varieties such as Baikonur, Green Lawn, Black Magic, Jaisri Place, and Dikshan. Currently, he is selling grapes at 370 BDT per kilogram, having already sold approximately 200,000 BDT worth of grapes. He anticipates a profit of at least 400,000 BDT after covering costs. Additionally, he has earned 300,000 BDT from selling grafted saplings at 300 BDT each, inspiring many local youths to venture into exotic fruit farming.
