Approximately 1,400 Spanish hotels are preparing a collective lawsuit against Booking.com, alleging abusive contract terms. The Spanish Confederation of Hotels and Tourist Accommodation (Cehat) is leading the legal action, which also includes alternative accommodations like spas and tourist apartments. A second lawsuit representing over 700 entities is also in progress, indicating widespread dissatisfaction with the platform's practices.
