BYD is expanding its hybrid vehicle lineup with the introduction of the new Dolphin G DM-i, marking the first plug-in hybrid supermini for the European market. This model features the next generation of BYD's Super Hybrid DM 5.0 technology and is available with two Blade battery options. The base Active trim offers a 7.42 kWh battery with a 40 km electric range and a total range of 1,019 km. Higher trims come with an 18.3 kWh battery, extending the pure electric range to 105 km. The vehicle is powered by a 1.5-liter gasoline engine and an electric motor, delivering a combined output of 212 horsepower.
The introduction of new hybrid vehicle technology signifies advancements in sustainable transportation and offers consumers more fuel-efficient options.
