No Pakistani university broke into the world's top 350. QAU fell to 381st place, while NUST slipped to 384th. However, PIEAS improved significantly, climbing to 560th globally. Other ranked universities include Punjab, LUMS, Agriculture Faisalabad, COMSATS, and GCU Faisalabad. The rankings reveal significant regional disparities, with Punjab and Islamabad dominating representation, while Sindh has only one entry, and Balochistan has none. Experts cite factors like inadequate research funding and weak international collaborations as reasons for the overall performance, though QAU excels in citations per faculty.
