The Regional Meteorological Centre predicts that daytime temperatures will remain below normal due to reduced sunshine. Stronger onshore winds are expected to sustain the cooler conditions. While widespread heavy rain is unlikely, isolated light to moderate thundershowers are possible in northern coastal districts, including Chennai.
