Four Dead, Including Father and Son, After Falling into Abandoned Well While Rescuing Goat

Four individuals, including a father and son, tragically died after falling into an abandoned well in Madhupur, Tangail, while attempting to rescue a goat. The incident occurred Saturday morning in the Jaloi village of the Garad area. The deceased have been identified as Babul Hadima, his son Neymar Mrong, Ratan Nokrek, and Gabriel Nokrek. According to local accounts, Gabriel Nokrek initially entered the well to rescue the goat. When he did not respond, the others followed, leading to the fatal outcome. Fire service personnel recovered the bodies from the well. Preliminary investigations suggest that toxic gas or a lack of oxygen inside the well may have caused the deaths. The exact cause is pending further investigation.
