Amazonas Governor Reallocates R$126.6 Million from Contingency Reserve to Parliamentary Amendments

The decrees, published on May 7th, direct funds to various state secretariats for the execution of amendments covering areas such as Health, Education, Culture, and Public Security. While the government stated the funds came from a reserve specifically for amendments, the decrees cite the general contingency reserve. An economist noted that this reserve is usually designated for emergencies like natural disasters.
