SAMDUO has introduced its Nex series of home batteries, designed with an emphasis on aesthetics and thin profile. Unlike traditional bulky units, the E6000 model is wall-mounted and only 11.9 cm thick, claimed to be the world's thinnest. A variant, the E6000H, is a compact cube designed for corner placement. Both models offer a 6 kWh capacity and are priced around 1999 euros, with a planned French release in the third quarter. The system connects to a home's electrical circuit for efficient energy management, compatible with most existing installations. SAMDUO, a relatively new Chinese industrial player, is entering the European market with significant investment. While the system is designed for real-time home consumption monitoring, a specific module for French meters will be required. A smaller P2800 Pro model, connecting directly to solar panels, is also available. The accompanying app provides real-time energy flow data and manages off-peak hours. The high price point suggests a long-term return on investment.
