Two More Arrested in Gafargaon Gang Rape Case After Husband Tied Up
ময়মনসিংহের গফরগাঁও উপজেলায় গভীর রাতে ঘরে ঢুকে অস্ত্রের মুখে স্বামীর হাত-পা, চোখ-মুখ বেঁধে স্ত্রীকে তুলে নিয়ে দলবদ্ধ ধর্ষণের মামলায় আরও দুই আসামিকে গ্রেপ্তার করেছে পুলিশ। গতকাল বিকেলে ও রাতে পৃথক অভিযানে দুজনকে গ্রেপ্তার করা হয়। এ ঘটনায় এখন পর্যন্ত ৩ আসামিকে গ্রেপ্তার করা হয়েছে। গতকাল গ্রেপ্তার ব্যক্তিরা হলেন মো. শাকিল (৩০) ও হিরন খান (৪০)। এর মধ্যে শাকিল মামলার ২ নম্বর এবং হিরন ৪ নম্বর আসামি। শাকিলকে জেলা ডিবির সহায়তায় ফুলবাড়িয়া থেকে গতকাল বেলা তিনটার দিকে এবং হিরনকে গাজীপুরে
Police have apprehended two additional suspects in the case of a woman who was gang-raped in Gafargaon after her husband was tied up. The arrests were made in separate operations yesterday. This brings the total number of arrested individuals to three. The suspects, identified as Md. Shakil, 30, and Hiron Khan, 40, are the second and fourth defendants in the case, respectively. Earlier, Shahab Uddin was arrested and remanded for two days. The incident involved a group of seven to eight individuals who broke into the victim's home, tied up her husband, and then abducted and assaulted her in a secluded area.
The ongoing arrests in this brutal gang rape case highlight the police's efforts to bring perpetrators to justice and underscore the severity of the crime.
