MediaTek has officially launched the Dimensity 8550, its latest mobile platform targeting the mid-to-premium smartphone segment. Built on TSMC's mature 4nm N4P process, the chip adopts an all-big-core CPU architecture using Cortex-A725 cores exclusively: one prime core clocked at 3.4GHz, three performance cores at 3.2GHz, and four efficiency cores at 2.2GHz.
