Organisers of a forthcoming healing and miracle conference in Abuja have said the event will focus on prayers for Nigeria’s peace, security and economic recovery amid the country’s continuing social and economic challenges. Speaking at a press conference on Friday, the founder of Lapis Lazuli Ministries, Dr Femi Bajomo, said the three-day conference scheduled for June 25 to 27 in the Federal Capital Territory would provide an opportunity for believers to pray for national healing and spiritual renewal. Bajomo said Abuja was selected as the venue because of its position as the nation’s capital and its accessibility to participants from different parts of the country. According to him, the conference would bring together worshippers, ministers and professionals to seek divine intervention for the country’s challenges and encourage faith-based responses to prevailing economic difficulties. “The Lord has brought us to Abuja. Abuja is the center point of Nigeria. Every prayer you say here in Abuja will transfer all over Nigeria, all the four corners of Nigeria,” he said. He expressed confidence that participants would attend from across the country despite economic constraints. Bajomo said discussions during the conference would extend beyond spiritual activities to include contributions from Christians in business and professional fields who would share their experiences on navigating economic and workplace challenges. “With the current challenges going on within the country, the hardships and other things, taking three days out to immerse yourself in the love of God will definitely do each and every one of us a whole lot of good. “We’ll be talking about Christians in the marketplace, their businesses and professional experiences so others can benefit because, again, you should know there’s nothing that the Lord can’t provide. There’s nothing that is impossible for God,” Bajomo said.
