Childcare centre destroyed in fire days after nearby business burned down

A childcare centre south of Brisbane has been destroyed in an early morning fire, with police launching an investigation into how it began.
At least six fire crews were called to the address on Juers Street at Kingston in Logan about 1am.
The building partially collapsed, and it took almost an hour to bring the fire under control. No injuries were reported.
Parents and carers were told the Treehouse Early Learning Centre was closed and to make other arrangements.
Police confirmed on Monday morning the property was a crime scene, and investigators had been brought in.
Fire crews were still on the scene more than six hours after the fire broke out.
The blaze occurred days after another major fire a few kilometres away that put parts of the suburb into lockdown.
A tyre store was engulfed in flames on Wednesday afternoon, and police declared an exclusion zone spanning several blocks.
