A total of 1,534 students from K.L. Deemed to be University have secured placements in Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) in a single recruitment drive.

A statement from the university management on Tuesday (June 30, 2026) said that, in the first campus recruitment drive for the 2027 graduating engineering batch, a total of 1,534 students received offer letters from the leading IT services company TCS.

Vice-Chancellor Parthasaradhi Varma announced that 1,311 students from the Vijayawada campus and 223 students from the Hyderabad campus secured placements with TCS. He said the students earned these offers after successfully clearing the written test, coding assessment, and interview process conducted over the past week.

Mr. Varma said the university was taking special measures to ensure 100% campus placements for its students and to achieve this goal, it had been providing comprehensive training and skill development programmes to enhance students’ employability.

He said KLU had signed Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) with more than 450 companies to facilitate campus recruitment and internship opportunities. In addition to placements with leading Indian companies, KL University students had also been securing jobs with international companies in countries such as Japan, Germany and the United Arab Emirates (Dubai), he added.
