Chhattisgarh Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Sharma, accompanied by his family, offered prayers at the Goddess Kanaka Durga temple at Indrakeeladri in Vijayawada on Tuesday.
On his arrival at the hill temple, Mr. Sharma was accorded a ceremonial welcome by the temple officials and priests. Later, he was ushered into the sanctum sanctorum of the temple for darshan of the presiding deity. He also participated in special rituals. Temple priests later presented him the deity’s ‘sesha vastram’ and ‘theertha prasadam’.
