The Camp Police Station has a new address in Belagavi now. It has begun functioning from the BSNL building opposite Globe cinema at the intersection of Head Post Office Road and Khanapur Road.

The earlier building on High Street in the Cantonment area became dilapidated as it was over a century old.

Police Commissioner Borase Bhushan Gulabrao issued orders to shift the police station to the new address. He has appealed to the public to take note of this change and visit, if required, the new Camp Police Station at the BSNL Building, said a release.
