Deputy Commissioner Rahul Pandve visited different locations in the Yadgir City Municipal Council limits on Monday and inspected ongoing civic works.
Mr. Pandve inspected work on the main road leading to Saidpur from Yadgir city being taken up at a cost of ₹7 crore under the Chief Minister’s Infrastructure Development Project by the Public Works Department.
Later, he inspected a drinking water unit from where purified water is supplied to city residents. He advised officers to take initiatives to complete purification of water to curb possible epidemics.
The Deputy Commissioner also inspected other public places and gardens. He directed the local authorities to maintain cleanliness and make gardens a public-visiting spot.
Municipal Commissioner Umesh Chavan, engineers Rajkumar, Shankargouda, Vishwanth, Lokeshwari, Shambhulingeshwar and others were present.
