Woman charged with murder after child found dead in NSW Central Coast home

A woman has been charged with murder after the body of a child, believed to be aged four, was found in a home on New South Wales's Central Coast.

Police said a 32-year-old woman presented to Wyong Police Station about 4:40pm on Saturday, which triggered a concern for welfare.

When officers arrived at the Wyong property, they found the body of a child with significant arm injuries.

Police said the 32-year-old woman was charged with domestic violence (DV) related murder this morning.

A crime scene was established, and the homicide squad has been called in to assist investigations.

Police are expected to provide further information later today.
