A man in his 20s has been treated for minor injuries to his arm after being stabbed in a busy shopping centre in regional Queensland.

Paramedics treated a man at the scene for minor injuries to his arm.

He has been taken to Toowoomba Base Hospital in a stable condition.

Jeremy Adams saw the incident unfold while working at a nearby doughnut stand and said there was a "group of youths" running around.

"One of them pulled out of a backpack what looked like a nine inch plus hunting knife and proceeded to chase one of the other youths..." Mr Adams said.

Today's incident comes a month after another minor stabbing in the same shopping centre.

On May 8, an 18-year-old man was charged over an alleged stabbing near the Woolworths supermarket in Grand Central.

And on May 30, police were called to an inner-city Toowoomba property at about 2.30pm after reports of a 15-year-old boy being stabbed in the leg and hand following a fight on a street corner.

The teenager was taken to Toowoomba Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Police said the incident occurred on the corner of Herries and Clifford Streets.

Police have called for anyone with information or dashcam footage of that fight to come forward.
