Former governor of Sokoto State, Senator Aminu Tambuwal, has expressed profound grief over the recent bandit attack on Dangulbi community in Tureta Local Government Area of Sokoto State, describing the incident as a tragic reminder of the persistent security challenges facing communities in the state. In a statement issued on Tuesday, Tambuwal condemned the killings, destruction of property and displacement of residents caused by the attack, saying the continued targeting of innocent citizens is unacceptable. “I am deeply saddened and heartbroken by the unfortunate attacks on Dangulbi community. These repeated attacks on innocent citizens are painful, unacceptable and a direct assault on the peace and security of our communities,” he said. The senator extended his condolences to families who lost loved ones in the attack and prayed for the speedy recovery of those injured. He also expressed sympathy with residents who have been displaced or affected by the violence. Tambuwal prayed for Allah’s mercy upon those who lost their lives and asked for strength and comfort for their families during this difficult period. He also offered prayers for the safe return of persons reportedly abducted during the attack.
