Police have arrested six people over the death and alleged kidnapping of a man whose body was found near a playground in Tarneit.
Raids were carried out on a number of properties on Wednesday following the death of the man last month.
A 23-year-old man and four 17-year-olds face charges of murder, kidnapping, home invasion and damage by fire.
Police have arrested six people, including four youths, over the death and alleged kidnapping of a man whose body was found near a children's playground in Melbourne's west last month.
Victoria Police said a 30-year-old man was kidnapped from a house in Darius Terrace, South Morang in the early morning of May 15.
It is alleged the man was dragged out of his house about 3am and bundled into a vehicle, which fled the scene.
His body was found near the playground in Bruny Drive, Tarneit about 4:30am that morning.
Police believe the vehicle used in the incident was later set alight on Mt Mary Road, Eynesbury.

Officers arrested a 23-year-old Truganina man, an 18-year-old Point Cook man and four 17-year-olds.
The 23-year-old man and the four 17-year-old boys have been charged with murder, kidnapping, aggravated home invasion and criminal damage by fire.
The 18-year-old man has been charged with assisting offenders and criminal damage by fire.
