On the occasion of the 131st birth anniversary of Indian Union Muslim League (IUML) leader Muhammad Ismail, popularly known as Quiad-e-Millat, Tamil Nadu Chief Minister C. Joseph Vijay on Friday (June 5, 2026) paid tributes at the Wallajah Big Mosque in Chennai.
Mr. Vijay was accompanied by Ministers N. Anand, Aadhav Arjuna, and other Cabinet colleagues, besides leaders of the IUML, including the party’s national president K.M. Kader Mohideen.
Former Chief Minister and DMK president M.K. Stalin and leaders from other parties also paid their respects.
