Madanapalle Institute of Technology and Science (MITS), deemed to be a university, near Madanapalle in Annamayya district, hosted a visit on Friday (June 5, 2026) by the National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) Vice President Varun Batra and Ethnotech Academy Chairman Dr. Kiran Rajanna.
According to a press release, they inspected skill development facilities including advanced laboratories, innovation centres, incubation hubs and technical infrastructure aligned with industry needs. Batra emphasised that skill development integrated with higher education is essential and assured NSDC support for training, certification and internships for students. Discussions focused on academia-industry collaboration and employability enhancement.
On World Environment Day, the duo joined tree plantation drive on campus. The programme was attended by officials, faculty, and students.
