Adani Krishnapatnam Port Limited (AKPL) Chief Executive Officer Jagdish Patel planted saplings at the premises in Krishnapatnam, located in the SPSR Nellore district, on Friday (June 5, 2026), on World Environment Day.

He called upon the staff to reaffirm their commitment to environmental sustainability and climate action. Later, he distributed jute bags to the employees, workmen, and stakeholders as part of promoting eco-friendly practices under the campaign “Say No to plastics.”

The participants took an oath to protect the environment and contribute towards climate change mitigation, in a gesture of demonstrating collective responsibility towards a sustainable future.
