The prime accused in a major government land encroachment conspiracy linked to Gandipet has been arrested by the Narsingi police and the Cyberabad Economic Offences Wing (EOW) following an investigation into alleged forgery and fraudulent land regularisation.

The accused, Bolla Brahmanaidu, was traced to Kanchipuram in Tamil Nadu, and will be produced before the court.

The case was registered by the Narsingi police on May 23, 2026, based on a complaint filed by Gandipet Tahsildar N. Srinivas Reddy. The complaint alleged that fake Government Orders, falsified revenue records and forged official documents were created to unlawfully occupy and regularise around 10 acres of valuable government land in survey number 18 of Gandipet mandal.

During the course of investigation, police officials had already arrested several accused, including members of the Nimmala family, Radhakrishna and his driver Prabeen Kumar. They were produced before the court, which granted police custody for further interrogation.

Investigators have now found that Bolla Brahmanaidu, along with Bolla Ramesh, Radhakrishna and members of the Nimmala family, conspired to execute the land grab by fabricating official documents and impersonating government approvals. The probe further revealed financial transactions amounting to approximately ₹12 crore, routed as part of the conspiracy. Of this, ₹4 crore is believed to have been paid to members of the Nimmala family, another ₹4 crore to Radhakrishna, who is already under arrest, and the remaining ₹4 crore to other associated individuals.

According to investigators, the funds were used to facilitate the creation of forged Government Orders, fabricated permissions and other fraudulent records intended to establish illegal ownership claims over the land.

Bolla Brahmanaidu had earlier approached the Telangana High Court seeking anticipatory bail, but his plea was rejected after the court took into account the seriousness of the allegations, the stage of the investigat
