SJCE-STEP in collaboration with entrepreneurial community Mundhu Banni is organising a ‘Mundhe Banni Meetup - Mysuru’ at R. P. Singhania Auditorium at JSS Science and Technology University premises in the city on Saturday.

The event aims to bring together entrepreneurs, startup founders, industry leaders, students, innovators and ecosystem enablers on a common platform to exchange ideas, share experiences and inspire the next generation of founders.

Pointing out that many aspiring founders from smaller cities and towns often lack access to experienced mentors, industry networks and startup support systems, the statement said Mundhe Banni Meetup seeks to bridge this gap by creating meaningful conversations between successful entrepreneurs and emerging innovators.

“The event is designed around a simple philosophy: real stories, practical insights and meaningful connections,” the statement from the SJCE-STEP said.

While director of JSS Technical Education Division and Pro-Chancellor of JSS Academy of Higher Education and Research (JSS AHER) B. Suresh will open the event with an academic perspective on entrepreneurship, highlighting the importance of innovation-led education and institution-driven entrepreneurship, CEO and Founder of AIM High Consulting, Bengaluru, N. Ravi Shankar, will share his insights on building large enterprises from smaller towns, offering lessons for aspiring entrepreneurs from emerging cities.

A special panel discussion titled “Policy Meets Practice: Building Mysuru’s Startup Ecosystem from Both Ends” will feature the Mysuru Cluster head of Karnataka Digital Economy Mission (KDEM) Sudheer Shankar, CEO OF SJCE-STEP Shivashankar and CEO of Mundhe Banni Vasant Shetty.

“The panel will discuss how institutions, policymakers, entrepreneurs and ecosystem enablers can work together to accelerate startup growth in Mysuru and Karnataka,” the statement said.

The event will also showcase inspiring founder journeys through a Founder Spotlight session featuring Pru
