DODOMA: THE Tanzania Agricultural Development Bank (TADB) has been recognised for its contribution to climate-smart agriculture and environmental sustainability after receiving a prestigious award during the 2026 World Environment Day celebrations. The award was presented on behalf of President Samia Suluhu Hassan by Vice-President Emmanuel Nchimbi in Dodoma on June 5, 2026. According to the award citation issued by the Vice-President’s Office, TADB was honoured for its significant role in promoting climate-resilient agriculture, sustainable use of natural resources, and investment in environmentally friendly technologies. The recognition underscores the bank’s growing contribution to supporting agricultural projects that enhance productivity while helping farmers adapt to the effects of climate change.
