A 23-year-old man who had been undergoing treatment for severe head injuries sustained in a collision between his scooter and a wild boar at Kaicheri near Chittariparamba died on Friday (June 5). The deceased was identified as K. Ajal, 23, of Kaicheri.

The accident occurred on Sunday night (May 31) when Ajal was travelling towards Kannavam on his scooter. A wild boar reportedly ran across the road and collided with the vehicle, leaving him with severe head injuries.

He was admitted to a private hospital in Kannur, where he succumbed to his injuries.
