Over three lakh candidates have registered for the Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions (TNEA) 2026 till 6 p.m. on Friday, even as the deadline draws near.

The figure is quite similar to the one recorded last year. As of 6 p.m. on Friday, a total of 2,43,476 candidates have paid their fees and 2,23,599 candidates have successfully uploaded their certificates on the portal.

The last date for paying the registration fees and uploading documents is June 6. At the close of registrations for TNEA 2025, a total of 3,02,374 candidates had registered, 2,49,883 had paid registration fees, and 2,26,359 had uploaded certificates.
