No fatalities or disappearances have been reported.
Local residents assisted in the immediate rescue efforts before emergency services arrived, using improvised methods to transport the injured to the hospital. The collapsed portion represented approximately 60% of the bridge's total structure. The bridge, which cost over R$36 million and was inaugurated two and a half years ago, had been previously flagged for potential collapse and was interdicted the day before the incident.
