JITRA: Proses pemulihan Kamarulkhizar Rahman atau Iza, bekas gitaris kumpulan rock 1990-an, Gamma yang mengalami masalah kesihatan, mula diatur menerusi kerjasama Persatuan Karyawan Malaysia (KARYAWAN) dan Ahli Dewan Undangan Negeri (ADUN) Jitra, Dr Haim Hilman Abdullah. A collaborative effort is underway to assist Kamarulkhizar Rahman, also known as Iza, the former guitarist of the 1990s rock band Gamma, who is facing significant health challenges. The Malaysian Artistes Association (KARYAWAN) and the Jitra State Assemblyman, Dr. Haim Hilman Abdullah, have initiated a recovery plan for the 52-year-old musician. KARYAWAN President Datuk Freddie Fernandez, along with Dr. Haim Hilman, visited Iza to assess his medical needs and potential support. Iza is dealing with a slipped disc affecting his spine and a motorcycle accident that injured his left leg in three places, rendering him unable to walk. Continuous treatment, including physiotherapy, is deemed necessary for his recovery. He currently lives alone and relies on rental income and public donations.
This initiative highlights the importance of community support and industry solidarity in aiding artists facing health crises.
