This funding will support a 12-month consolidation phase aimed at strengthening existing systems, infrastructure, and organizational capacity. RuralRevive, an initiative of the Wolwedans Foundation, seeks to cultivate a sustainable, desert-based economy by integrating horticulture, waste management, logistics, and community development.
This latest investment brings Capricorn's total support to N$3.37 million, reflecting confidence in the project's progress. The funds will be used to enhance operational work packages, including waste management facilities, logistics terminals, community hubs, and horticultural training centers, building on positive evaluations of the project's functioning ecosystem.
This investment matters because it supports the scaling and long-term sustainability of a rural development model designed to create economic, social, and environmental value in an arid region.
