Ακατάσχετο τραπεζικών λογαριασμών στα 1.600 ευρώ – Οι αλλαγές μέσα από παραδείγματα
Στο νομοσχέδιο για την καταπολέμηση του παράνομο τζόγου, θα ενταχθεί και η διάταξη η οποία θα προβλέπει την αύξηση του ακατάσχετου ορίου στους τραπεζικούς λογαριασμούς στα 1.600 από 1.250 ευρώ , την οποία εξήγγειλε την Παρασκευή (5/6) μιλώντας στη Βουλή ο υπουργός Εθνικής Οικονομίας και Οικονομικών Κυριάκος Πιερρακάκης. The Greek government is set to raise the protected bank account limit to 1,600 euros, an increase of 350 euros from the current 1,250 euro threshold. This change, intended to provide greater financial security, will apply to debts owed to the tax authority, social security funds, banks, and debt management companies. The legislation is expected to be voted on in June and aims to better reflect current economic realities. Additionally, the bill introduces provisions for lifting account freezes if 25% of a debt is paid and the remainder is regulated, alongside lowering the entry threshold for the out-of-court debt settlement mechanism.
This measure aims to protect a larger portion of citizens' savings from seizure, offering a buffer against financial hardship and encouraging debt resolution.
