Sehubungan itu, Menteri Pembangunan Wanita, Keluarga dan Masyarakat, Datuk Seri Nancy Shukri berkata RUU berkenaan dijangka dibentangkan di Parlimen sebelum penghujung tahun ini selepas proses mendapatkan maklum balas awam selesai
