KUALA LANGAT: Perbezaan fahaman politik tidak seharusnya menjadi penghalang kepada perpaduan masyarakat, sebaliknya perlu diraikan dengan penuh adab dan tatasusila. Timbalan Perdana Menteri, Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi, berkata parti politik hanyalah wadah atau platform, namun perkara lebih penting ialah penyatuan pemikiran, hati nurani dan tindakan demi kemajuan sesuatu kawasan. Berucap pada Karnival Sambutan 100 Tahun Kampung Jenjarom, di sini hari ini, beliau berkata,
Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi emphasized that political differences should not hinder societal unity, advocating instead for celebrating these differences with respect and decorum. He stated that political parties are merely platforms, with the crucial element being the unification of thought, conscience, and action for regional progress. Speaking at the 100th-anniversary carnival of Kampung Jenjarom, he highlighted the area's development as a testament to the success of a diverse community coexisting for a century. Ahmad Zahid urged the community, particularly younger generations, to share common goals despite differing opinions, stressing the importance of handling disagreements with good conduct and adherence to established customs and civility.
The message underscores the importance of social cohesion and mutual respect in achieving community development, regardless of political or cultural backgrounds.
