Natuzzi, a well-known Italian furniture company, is relocating a significant portion of its production to Romania. This move will result in the closure of several manufacturing plants across Puglia and Basilicata. Only two facilities in Italy, one in Matera and another in Laterza, will remain operational. The workforce from the closed plants will be partially reassigned to these remaining sites, where many employees have already experienced prolonged periods of temporary layoffs (cassa integrazione).
