PUTRAJAYA: Memorandum persefahaman (MoU) yang dimeterai antara Jabatan Insolvensi Malaysia (MdI) dan Koordinasi Pendidikan Teknikal dan Latihan Vokasional (TVET) Kerajaan-Industri (GITC) bertujuan memberi peluang kedua kepada individu bankrap memperoleh pekerjaan berasaskan kemahiran dan kelayakan mereka. Jabatan Insolvensi Malaysia (MdI) and the Government-Industry TVET Coordination (GITC) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to provide a second chance for bankrupt individuals to secure employment. This initiative aims to address the challenges faced by those with bankruptcy status in finding jobs, particularly those who are self-employed. Through this collaboration, bankrupt individuals can channel their existing skills into the TVET sector and participate in training and certification programs. The program also includes career development, skills enhancement, and awareness sessions, as well as job placement opportunities to aid in their socioeconomic recovery. MdI will share data of bankrupt individuals under 40 who voluntarily wish to participate in the GITC-offered programs. This partnership is believed to be the first of its kind globally in providing such a platform for bankrupt individuals.
This initiative offers a crucial pathway for individuals facing bankruptcy to reintegrate into the workforce and rebuild their lives, promoting socioeconomic recovery and reducing recidivism.
