At least 20 houses affected by fire in Parañaque, says BFP

A fire swept through at least 20 houses along Lopez Jaena Street in Barangay San Dionisio, Parañaque City, early Saturday morning, according to the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP).

In a report by Mao Dela Cruz on Super Radyo dzBB, authorities said the affected houses were mostly made of light materials. Damage to property was initially estimated at more than P100,000.

The BFP reported no fatalities, although one man sustained an injury to his left foot.

The fire broke out at around 12:50 a.m., and its cause remains under investigation.

Authorities declared the fire out at 5:40 a.m., nearly five hours after it started.
