Milivojevic: Student movement in Serbia is the most progressive movement in Europe today

Democratic Party (DS) leader Srdjan Milivojevic said, speaking in Skopje at the "Unifying for the Future" rally, that the student movement in Serbia is the most progressive movement in Europe today.

"The student movement in Serbia, which the Democratic Party has wholeheartedly supported from the beginning, is probably the most progressive social movement that exists in Europe today. It is a movement of freedom, justice, responsibility and dignity. A movement that has shown that fear is not stronger than citizens and that young people can awaken the entire society," Milivojevic said at a rally in Skopje.

He called on all progressive forces in Europe to clearly, firmly and unequivocally support the student movement in Serbia.

Addressing the participants of the gathering, he thanked the organizers, the Social Democratic Alliance of North Macedonia, the Korcula School, the CEE Gender Network, the Party of European Socialists, and the conference partners, emphasizing that bringing together progressive forces is one of the most important political tasks in Europe today.

The DS delegation, consisting of party leader Srdjan Milivojevic, vice president Dragana Rakic and secretary general Dusan Kostadinovic, participated in Skopje at the "Mobilising for the Future" conference, which brings together representatives of social democratic, democratic and progressive forces from the region and Europe.
