Baltic parliamentarians will enjoy Friday in Liepāja
On Friday, June 5th, at a joint meeting of the Baltic Assembly (BA) Committees on Natural Resources and Environment and on Health, Welfare and Family Affairs, parliamentarians from Latvia, Estonia and Lithuania will seek solutions for a more comprehensive harmonisation of climate and health policies in the Baltic States, as well as discuss the implementation of joint measures to mitigate the impact of climate change on human health.
Lawmakers from Latvia, Estonia, and Lithuania are scheduled to convene in Liepāja this Friday for a joint meeting of the Baltic Assembly's committees. The parliamentarians will focus on aligning climate and health policies across the Baltic States. Discussions will also address collaborative strategies to lessen the adverse effects of climate change on public health.
This meeting aims to foster greater regional cooperation on critical environmental and health issues affecting the Baltic nations.
